Hello everyone, Last week, I spammed my users with emails because of a bug in my code :-( Here is how: I had written a code to do a transaction and send confirmation email. When the transaction failed, it retried again and again (being an idempotent method) and spammed the entire user base with emails. I was so embarrassed that I wrote an API layer on top of my email delivery service (SendGrid). This ensures that my users won't get more than 1 email per day, irrespective of my mistakes or architecture. I am publishing it as a public API, in case anyone else needs it. Hope you like it :) Have you run into this problem? How did you solve it?
