Magical Calls lets parents create live, personalized phone conversations between their children and magical AI characters. Choose a character, add a few details, select the language and schedule the call. The character listens, responds in real time and turns birthdays, lost teeth, holidays and everyday moments into memories, with no app required for the child

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Dan, a father of two and one of the makers behind Magical Calls.
The idea started from a simple observation: children may forget another app or video, but they remember the moment the phone rang and a magical character knew their name.
We wanted to create something more personal than a generated message. With Magical Calls, a parent chooses a character, adds a few details, selects the language and schedules the call. The character then phones the child, listens and responds in real time. There is no app for the child to install and no script the conversation has to follow.
We built it for moments like losing a first tooth, birthdays, holidays and those ordinary days when a little imagination can become a lifelong memory.
For the Product Hunt community, we’ve created a free demo call so you can experience the technology yourself, even if there isn’t a child nearby. We’re also offering 50% off the first full call during launch week.
We would genuinely love your feedback, particularly around three things:
✨ Which characters or occasions should we build next?
🌍 Which languages should we add?
🛡️ What would make you feel completely comfortable using an AI experience with your child?
Thank you for checking out Magical Calls. We’ll be here throughout the day answering every question.

honestly love the no app thing, that part is really clever. one thing though, could you add a way for grandparents to record a short voice message beforehand that the character weaves into the call? feels like it would make it way more personal for kids who don't see family often.

@kardelenme87576 Love this idea! It would make the calls feel even more personal. Definitely something I’ll explore.
