Origin of Lygos Video Wall Software goes back to KPMG Data Observatory at Data Science Institute at Imperial College London. It started as a PhD project that powered the Data Observatory. Later on relaunched and evolved into a commercial start up. It focuses on Visual Data Analytics on Video Walls. It separates itself from other products on the market by providing built in data analytics, data visualization and geographic information system (GIS) modules. It does not require specialized hardware, as it can run on any PC to create a seamless screen area on video walls through distributed screen clients, where collages of data visualizations and maps can be deployed to.
