Luminar Neo for iPad stands out as the premier on-the-go application, providing me with the convenience of Luminar for editing while I'm out capturing landscapes with my Nikon Z5 connected via Snapbridge. This enables quick previews before making decisions, whether using my mobile or the iPad itself. The app's versatility, combined with powerful tools, is a necessity. It allows me to explore various angles and make informed decisions on the final shot. Having Luminar on both my iPad and Luminar Neo for home editing is incredibly practical. Skylum has done an excellent job, and being a Ukrainian company adds to the appreciation. They have a remarkable team, both professional and human, making it the best company in my opinion. Congratulations, Skylum ! 💙💛

Yeah, to be honest this app already feels dead on arrival, since the mayor reason for me to switch to luminar neo was the local masking ( what is still for whatever reason not even slightly a thing in lightroom). The other k.o. criteria is no Raw files. I didnt bought an expensive dslm camera and invest all this time to edit properly just to limit myself to jpegs. Yes, this is all fixable in the future, but what i find almost insulting about that is the fact that they want to charge me again for a inferior version without including all my bought assets, luts and presets.

I was able to observe the development of an application since 2023, and it has been an extraordinary journey. The overall design and UI of the application is refreshing, especially in the flat world of mobile photo editing. Each tool is easy and fun to use, and the application offers many photo editing possibilities, which I cannot wait to share with my photography audience. In the future, I hope to see even more tools and filters that would offer even more creative possibilities on the iPad. I wish the Skylum team all the best, and congratulations on their achievement.

Just as buggy as the desktop product, the interface design looks as if it's been drawn for a child. My son plays with something similar in kindergarten, except he doesn't need photo editors.

A strange app, similar to a toy, with no functionality. I played around with it and then deleted it. It's unclear who it's meant for. When I first saw it in a review, the design caught my interest. After clicking around, I realized it's just for playing and definitely not worth paying for.

Every product must have a product-market fit; who this beautiful cover with such limited functionality is aimed at is unclear to me. I see a facade behind which there is emptiness, complex solutions to simple tasks. Why do I need this product if the standard Photos app handles the same tasks with ease? To get non-standard sliders, I must subscribe. My verdict is design for the sake of design, with emptiness inside.
