I built Lumabook around a simple question:
What if books could come alive while you read them?
You still read at your own pace, but short cinematic scenes bring characters, places, and moments from the story to life alongside the text.
The first prototype is The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
The hardest part hasn’t been generating video — it’s making the visuals feel coherent, consistent, and subtle enough that they enhance the reading experience instead of distracting from it.
I’d especially love feedback on that balance.
And one more question: what book would you want Lumabook to bring to life next?
