Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Ismail, the founder of Lucent. Lucent actually started as something I built for myself. I’m a product designer and builder, but I don’t know After Effects, and every time I wanted to create a good video for something I built, it became a whole project on its own. Recording screens, animating them, writing the copy, adding voiceovers, editing everything together — it took way too much time. I tried using AI tools to make the process easier, but I often ended up jumping between different tools, spending more than I wanted, and still having to put everything together myself. So I started building Lucent. At first, I just wanted a tool where I could explain what I was building and get a polished product video back. Lucent slowly became something I was actually using for my own projects, and eventually I thought: maybe other app and SaaS builders have the same problem. So now I’m sharing it with you.
