Greetings Hunters, Thank you so much, Yaroslav, for posting and sharing the story behind the product. I'm the founder of Lovebox, a tech company born from love, built on love, and championing for love since 2017! Why the Lovebox when we have smartphones, you may ask? Think of it as a guest room for love. Of course, you can book a hotel room for your friends every time they visit, but if you have a guest room you will invite them all the time. Lovebox is about inviting love into your life every single day. So, what do I expect from you, Hunters? Not only upvotes! Product Hunt is full of API lovers, and we are currently working on an API that will open the Lovebox to infinite use cases: in workplaces, in hospitals, in the hospitality industry, or simply integrating your Lovebox at home with other apps and devices. I would love to use this product hunt post as a way to crowdsource use cases for this API and that everyone upvotes the ideas of each other. It's been a challenge to develop and launch this new product during the pandemic. But I'm so happy we did it, as social distancing is keeping many families apart. On a personal note, I'm currently in Australia, not allowed to leave the country to visit my family in France until the end of 2021. Emotional connection is more important than ever before. My boyfriend bought me a Lovebox for Christmas last year, and I absolutely love it ! We use it all the time when we're not together, to send love or just ask for a virtual hug :) It's an amazing way to take care of eachother. I'm totally addicted ! Seeing the little heart moving is clearly making my day better !

Gave it to my God-daughter who is 9 years old and doesn't have a cell phone. I send a message usually every week or two, and she LOVES IT. It helps us feel connected, and I have allowed the company to send me notifications to remind me to drop her a note, and this works very well. A terrific, terrific product. 5 stars from me.

Hey ! I love the idea of the lovebox and I'm thrilled to know that it will be opened to more use cases. I would love to see APIs for: - using the lovebox with Alexa or other voice devices so I could easily send a message to my mom in Colombia while I'm cooking and thinking of her and her recipes. - using the love box with a robot like Pepper since I have one at home and one at work and also would like to share messages, photos and other things from the robot. But the best would be if my parents could use the love box to send me "love" in verbal or not verbal cues through Pepper :) I'll think of other ideas ;) Feel free to contact me in private too ! This is such a fun product. My boyfriend lives in India and I live in the US so it's hard to connect because of the huge time difference. This adds a little special love to sending him a message, and lets him know I'm thinking of him beyond just a text message. There's also an option to engrave the box with lots of fonts and lots of room to write. I was so excited to receive this and to give it! An awesome product worth the price.
