What can it do:
- MP4 to Lottie
- GIF to Lottie (did not exist until now)
- MP4 to JSON
- GIF to JSON

Please note that the conversion will produce a smaller file than the original MP4 or GIF (which is beneficial for SEO and website/app load times) without noticeable quality loss. Also, unlike many tools out there, @LottieFyr will not change the size of the original file.

I just released a Lottie file scanner for developers

Upload a Lottie JSON or .lottie file and it checks for missing assets, font problems, renderer compatibility risks, expressions, excessive complexity, large embedded images, broken references, and structural issues.

It also shows the exact affected layer and JSON path instead of making you inspect the file manually.

I m exploring a new direction for LottieFyr: automatically finding and repairing common problems in Lottie files.

The idea:

Upload a Lottie JSON or .lottie file
Receive a free, downloadable report
See compatibility, rendering, file-size, asset, and structural problems
If an automatic fix is supported, receive a repaired file with a second verification report
If it cannot be repaired safely, you are told clearly and are not charged

I added SVG → Lottie conversion to Lottiefyr. Is this useful for designers and devs?

I originally built Lottiefyr to convert GIF and MP4 animations into Lottie files, but I kept thinking about another common problem: a lot of people already have clean SVG assets, but turning them into simple animated Lottie files is still annoying.

So I added a new SVG Lottie feature.

The idea is simple: upload a static SVG, choose an animation style, and export it as a Lottie file you can use in apps, websites, onboarding screens, buttons, loaders, or empty states.
