Hi everyone! 👋
We’re thrilled to introduce Loomur today!
Adding engaging subtitles to short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) is essential since so many people watch on mute. However, relying on cloud-based tools can be slow, tedious, and often raises privacy concerns.
That’s why we built Loomur—to bring fast, stylish, and 100% private AI subtitling directly to your iPhone.
Here is what makes Loomur special:
🔒 Local AI Transcription: Your video and audio never leave your device. No server uploads, total privacy.
🎨 Full Customization: Edit text, change subtitle styles, and adjust placement easily.
✨ Keyword Highlighting: Make your core message pop by emphasizing key words with different colors.
📱 Vertical-Ready: Perfectly designed for short-form social content.
We built this for creators who want a simple, secure, and flexible workflow. We’ll be here all day answering questions. We’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any feature requests you might have! Let us know what you think! 👇

The on-device transcription feels pretty quick and it is nice knowing nothing gets uploaded. Highlighted keywords actually make the captions pop more than I expected.

On-device transcription is a great call for privacy. One thing that would make this even better for me is letting me save my own caption style presets so I can quickly switch between looks for different accounts without redoing the customization every time.
