The list of differences is quite extensive and let me give you the most noticeable differences: - Remote2 works with Google Home, Alexa, Yandex smart home and other voice assistants out of the box. - Remote2 have HTTP REST API and you can use it in your automation projects - Remote2 have realtime IR analysis feature - Remote2 have native HomeKit support for AC units - Remote2 have onboard temp & humidity sensor Also in Q2 we add to Remote2 BLE Mesh support (still in progress) These are just the main differences, but they already show how powerful the product is.

My name is Dmitry and I am CTO at LOOK.in. I would like to tell you about our device - LOOKin Remote2, which can be useful in home automation, and also get some feedback. And yes, in fact, this is the first publication about this device in ProductHunt. In order to be honest, I will need to say that the second version is just preparing to be released and in order to make it available all over the world we are launching a project on Kickstarter. In 2019 we released Remote1, it was available to professional range of users who have tried already other analogs on the market and, as a result, we have chosen - the manufacturer with an unknown name, but with a device that really solve their problem. All this time we received 24/7 feedback and made changes to the product. Remote2 is the result of 1.5 years of product development in which we took into account all the wishes of both current and, hopefully, future users. We will be grateful for your feedback, suggestions and will be happy to answer all questions about this device
