Logbook is a read-only app for your Alpaca brokerage account. It pairs every buy and sell into a closed trade with its profit, shows open positions with the day you got in, and puts deposits and dividends beside your trades, with a check that your balance adds up. Export your trades as CSV. Charts, per-symbol results and a Home Screen widget. Paper and live accounts side by side. It cannot place an order, needs no account, and your keys never leave your device. iPhone, iPad and Android.

I'm Jiri and I run a couple of small trading strategies on Alpaca on the side. I kept wanting one thing on my phone: open the app and see what my account actually did. Alpaca's API gives you orders and fills but not results, so I built Logbook to show them.
What's in it
📒 Book: equity, cash and every open position, with the day you got in and how long you've held it. Buying power says what it measures: 4× for day trading, 2× on margin, or simply your cash
📈 History: buys and sells paired into closed trades, with the profit on each, filtered by period or date range
💵 Deposits, withdrawals and dividends in your timeline, never counted as trading results, plus a balance check that adds everything up against the equity Alpaca reports
📤 Export: your closed trades as a CSV, each with the order that opened it and the order that closed it, so any trade can be checked against Alpaca's own records
📊 Charts: your equity curve, results per symbol, and how long you really hold things
🕐 Markets: your symbols with last prices and the US session clock in your own timezone. Tap any symbol, anywhere, for its price history with your own trades marked
📱 Home Screen widget, an iPad layout, and several accounts (paper and live) you can switch between instantly
Who it's for: anyone trading on Alpaca, whether by hand or with a bot, who wants a clear view of the account away from the desk.
Why read-only: there's no code in the app that could place, change or cancel an order. That's deliberate, and it's why I'm comfortable pointing it at a live account. There's no Logbook account and no server either. Your API keys go into your device's keychain and talk to Alpaca directly.
Pricing: free for three days, then a one-off $12.99. No subscription.
