I’d like to introduce Locus, a location intelligence platform for retail businesses.

A while ago, I found myself struggling to choose the best location to open a shop. I spent hours going through census data, competitor analysis, foot traffic, property rent/sale prices, etc. Existing tools felt like they were built for corporations, not SMEs.

What Locus does?

Locus brings everything into one dashboard:

Neighborhood demographics & household income (affluence)

Keyword Volume Trend and competition (for SEO)
Foot-traffic and Public Transport
AI-summarised Google reviews and sentiment analysis

Looking ahead, we’re looking to introduce heatmaps, to identify underserved areas, and expand demographics coverage across more countries.

This is truely awesome! Pulling together all that location data (demographics, competition, *and* Google reviews) into one dashboard is kinda genius imo. Seriously solves a huge problem for anyone trying to open a physical store – I always get stuck hunting down foot traffic data, so this is a lifesaver. How's the AI location assessment actually work? Is it just scoring things, or does it give actionable recommendations?
