I love this concept, but I can't recommend it to a friend because I know they wouldn't be okay with paying twice. I have no problem paying for an app and supporting a fellow developer, but I can't justify paying for more features after paying upfront. Maybe make it free and then pay for pro or have all features and pay upfront? I think it would also be fantastic if adding lists/tables was built natively into the app rather than having to screenshot one and importing it as an image (which is currently only for pro users as well). This last point might just be for iPhone X, but even with a 5K wallpaper, activating live on the iPhone X lockscreen stretches the image to the point of visible blurring. Since the text/QR generated by the app also gets blurred I'm guessing this has to do with the resolution the app exports the final image in. Overall, I think this is a great idea and i hope it sees improvements in the future

Brilliant workaround for iOS, the app is easy to use

Cons:

Low resolution when pressing on iPhone X. Custom text, box, and adding images are locked behind a pro paywall when the app costs $1.99

About the blur, I have mentioned in the description: "Limited by iOS, things you add may little fuzzy on the lock screen. " System Compressed the live photo on lock screen to keep iOS fast. I can't fix this. I will consider to add list/table function. And I will add more function in Pro pack in the future to make the price more reasonable, Thank you for your feedback.

@abadesi The first app using Live Photo to hide information is Elk. It can make a live photo include an exchange rate table. And some other apps can also make similar function. But there aren't any universal tools to just add everything in a live photo. So I made LiveUseful. On my lock screen, it's a QR code of my Line account. I'm living in Japan. Line is the most commonly used chat app. When I want to befriend with somebody, they can just scan my lock screen easily. And the background is a photo of Tokyo Tower. 😊

This is a really great idea, I never thought of, the only problem I see is for dynamic things like to-do list; you always have to change the picture manually to update information.

@jonas_petermann It's a problem. But iOS doesn't have an API to change lock screen dynamically.
