LIRIMO

Hello PH! As a parent, I’m always looking for simple ways to spend meaningful time with my kids. One of those moments has always been storytelling; like before bedtime, or sometimes just to talk about emotions or things that happened during the day. As part of that journey, I decided to build LIRIMO so my kids could create and read their own stories, instead of just listening to one. We’ve spent several evenings laughing at the stories they come up with, inventing characters like “Chico Guapo” (the name they already chose for their future dog) or worlds like “the fart world.” In their stories, they can create all kinds of characters; magical objects, pets, or even themselves and us as parents. Another thing they’ve really enjoyed is creating stories in different languages. It’s become a fun way to practice English or French, without it feeling like studying; just reading and creating stories in another language. Lirimo started as something just for my kids, and now I’m sharing it to see if other families enjoy this way of creating and reading stories together as much as we do. I’d love to hear your feedback.
