Charlie Irish
Hugely valuable tool for identifying link opportunities. Maker is Christoph Engelhardt @itengelhardt
Christoph Engelhardt
@charlieirish Hi Charlie. Thanks for the kind words.
Christoph Engelhardt
Hi everyone, I'm the maker and I'll be around to answer any questions you might have. Thanks @adii for submitting LinksSpy - that came out of left field. :-)
adii
@itengelhardt I spotted it during my Microconf FOMO. Looks like a great tool and look forward to using it myself with Receiptful soon.
Christoph Engelhardt
@adii Let me know if you need help. I'm more than happy to set you up 1-on-1 over Skype/Hangout and show you around the "house"
Andy O'Dower
@itengelhardt id take you up on that offer if you're interested?
Christoph Engelhardt
@odower Hi Andy. Sure. Just drop me an email at "christoph@[my product's domain]" and we'll set something up.
Nathan Barry
LinksSpy has been getting a lot of good buzz today at MicroConf Europe.
Christoph Engelhardt
Hi @nathanbarry, that is true and (sadly) that was much less orchestrated than it might look like.
Aaron Hanson
@itengelhardt So it's like Open Site Explorer but with kick ass filters and the ability to reach out within the app? Sahweet.
Christoph Engelhardt
@crixlet Hi Aaron. It is pretty much like that. I like to think of OSE as something gives you data about the past and LinksSpy gives you a path into the future. It tells you what to do next.
Aaron Hanson
@itengelhardt That makes sense. I always feel like with OSE and other tools I have all this information I COULD use, but don't. Seems like that is where LinksSpy comes in. Going to start a trial now!
Christoph Engelhardt
Hi @crixlet. Cool to hear. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with. If you want we can also set you up 1-on-1 via Skype.
Michael Buckbee
I was an early user of LinksSpy and have found it really valuable. So many of the other SEO tools rely on you sifting through spreadsheets and doing all of this shaky analysis. LinksSpy is refreshingly straightforward: input your domain, input your competitors domains and out pops a filtered list of sites that will very likely be interested in writing about you.
Christoph Engelhardt
Hi @mbuckbee. Thanks for being one of my earliest customers. It has always been fun working with you and I'm so glad that you are getting great value out of LinksSpy. Let me know if I can help you with anything!
Benjamin Hoffman
was going to test it out but couldnt get access without signing up. this product should definitely go freemium. your customers are online marketers. we are the savviness and most skeptical type of users and usually need a test run before turning over a CC or other personal data. OSE, Moz, ahrefs, majestic, etc... they all offer a few free queries a day.
Christoph Engelhardt
@benhoffman_ Hi Benjamin. Thanks for considering to try LinksSpy. For a number of business-y reasons (e.g. getting more & better feedback, not having the processes & systems in place) I can not offer a freemium model at the moment. You can however try the app for 7 days and I also offer a 60 day refund policy. I'm sorry that I can not help you more.

You are guaranteed to find a world of data that will keep you building links and content for months.
Christoph Engelhardt
@nathanpowell76 Hi Nathan. Thanks for the nice words. I love that you are getting so much value out of LinksSpy!
