In the old days websites like stumbleupon and digg were fun as they let you discover websites you normally would never visit. LinkSift is built for the same purpose, for users to follow the link trail and see where it takes them.

Hi hunters, my name is Mirza. I am one of the makers of this fun little project. I am old enough to remember StumbleUpon and the fun I had "stumbling" for hours at a time and discovering websites I never would have come across otherwise. LinkSift was built with a similar idea in mind. You "sift" a link and see what sites that particular page links to. You can then proceed to "sift" one of the resulting links and follow the link trail. People can also use the service to analyze their own or competitors' websites or for research purposes. For the dev geeks among you, the neat part about this project is that it was built using VueJs and Firebase and is entirely hosted on Netlify's free tier and Firebase's free tier with basically no overhead costs besides the domain name. We use Netlify's lambda functions for the api calls and their identity component to access a custom built admin where we can filter out anything inappropriate. We already have some ideas for the next phase of this project, however, we would love to hear feedback and any ideas with regards what features you think would improve the product. We promise to take things onboard and try and improve the product based on feedback. Finally, if you are looking for an experienced team of VueJs devs, we are available. You can reach me via mthit.com or via linkedin.
