I’m Lionel, and I made Lingu.Africa because I couldn’t find fun books to teach my daughter my language from Burundi. So, I created my own! 📚
My books have African languages on one side and English on the other, so kids and parents can learn together—even if they don’t speak the language yet. That’s the best part! 🙌🏾
I work with native speakers to make sure everything is spot on. Right now, we’ve got books in Kirundi, Kinyarwanda, Yoruba, and more! 🌍
The best feeling? When parents tell me their kids are proud to speak their African language now. That’s exactly why I do this. 🖤✊🏾
