As for me, it was a great experience to be a part of Linga and to solve my own pain of constantly switching between e-reader and dictionary. With Linga I can now read without distraction and improve my vocabulary by reading favourite books.
Great launch, congrats! Have you considered adding the latest news articles for those who cannot concentrate much on a whole book( + good retention-wise)?
@ivan_somov Hi Ivan! Thanks for your feedback. Actually there are already latest news from several popular sources such as BBC, Medium, New York Time and others. Later we plan to expand the list and add the possibility to add your own.
@dazhin_denis You are right! Found them in the library section. Also, it seems that there are not many A1/A2 books in Spanish. Maybe adding some books for children can help with that (such books are filled with useful A1-B2 words and vocabulary)
@ivan_somov We constantly expanding our Library, but frankly speaking it's not an easy task to find free books in all supported languages. That is why we have an option for users to download their own books and not to be limited by Linga library.
@dazhin_denis I understand. Thanks for the responses. Sorry, for being too suggestive π but I have another good suggestion. Please, add El Mundo newspaper alongside El Pais for those who learn Spanish. It covers A2 level more and is much easier to read than El Pais. Thanks again for your product, very excited about it!
@ivan_somov We appreciate your feedback and suggestions. We will try to add El Mundo in the list

Linga is THE discovery of 2023 for me. It's dream material, I enjoy using it a lot! I even considered buying a tablet just for using Linga on a bigger screen with touch. This should prove how much I admire it. What tablet would you, developers, recommend me to optimize reading experience in the long run?
@gerry_w Thanks for your feedback! As for devices - Linga will work on any Android or iOS one. Also want to mention that your specific reader and translation settings will be remembered for each device you are using.
@gerry_w We're delighted to hear about your love for Linga! Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it fuels our commitment to making Linga even better. We still need to improve our tablet version a lot, including introducing a dedicated design and some tablet specific featuares for an even better reading experience.
When choosing a tablet, the best option depends on your personal preferences, including the ecosystem you're already part of (iOS, Android, Windows), the type of display you prefer (OLED, AMOLED, E-Ink) and many more factors. Consider what fits your needs and budget best, and thank you for your support as we continue to improve Linga!
Is it compatible with the Kindle app on Android? I usually read books on the Kindle app and occasionally I run into a word I can't straight up tell what it means exactly, would be useful to have a direct way to translate what it means.
Congrats for launching this!
@geri_mate Thank you for your kind words and congratulations! Although the Kindle app has its own built-in dictionary feature, if you need direct translation capabilities, our app can offer the additional functionality you are looking for. We recommend trying it out along with regular reading in the Kindle app.

@andrei_savchuk does it any option to upload books from kindle app to your app ? Because a lot of professional books are in this app and I want to read them with your app
@ivan_russanov We checked this out a while ago and unfortunately didn't find any way to integrate with amazon kindle. In general, this is understandable, amazon wants to use their readers and they do not need to provide opportunities for integrations π€

Everything I ever wanted is contained in this amazing app! Such a great method of learning languages! But I wish there were Asian languages, especially Chinese, Korean and Japanese
@ama_off Thank you! Yes, many users are asking to add new learning languages, and our plan and our desire is to add as many languages as possible in the future, it would be great to add all possible ones, but this is too ambitious, but we will try π.

One of the best foreign language reader apps out there βΒ I've been using it for a few months already. I just wish there was an easier way to add news articles via iOS Share Sheet menu. But it's already super convenient for books. Wish the team success!
@bouillon23 Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback! Yes, we know that our news section needs to be improved, and we plan to work on it and, of course, we will take your suggestion into account.
