Quick bit of background: I lost count of how many times I've emailed a file to myself, or uploaded a video to Drive and waited for it to come back down, just to move something from my phone to my laptop. AirDrop solved this beautifully for people who live entirely inside Apple. The moment there's an Android phone or a Windows PC in the room, everyone's back to the cloud.
So I've been building Likz Drop basically AirDrop for every device. Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone. Files go straight device-to-device over Wi-Fi (no cloud, no size limit, end-to-end encrypted), nearby devices just show up, and it even works fully offline between two phones with no router or internet. If the other person doesn't have the app, you send them a browser link.
It's close to launch and I'd genuinely rather get it right with real users than launch into the void so I wanted to ask you all:
