Mix photos, screen recordings, or exported clips. Pick single, duo, or triple scenes and Liike handles the HTML5/CSS3 rendering logic, ensuring smooth playback at any frame rate.

Hi!,
I’m super excited to introduce Liike to the community today.
Honestly, I built this tool simply to scratch my own itch. I constantly needed polished mockup videos and short animations for social media and Product Hunt launches, but I kept hitting a wall: existing tools were either locked behind expensive paywalls or required wrestling with complex video timelines just to move a screenshot around.
I wanted something I could use in minutes to turn static assets into motion—without the headache. So, I built Liike. I wanted to try out a few things I learned while developing the Linssi app, and by the way, I released the macOS version of the Linssi app. Check it out
Here is what Liike can do right now:
✨ Zero Timeline Editing: Just drop your assets, and Liike handles the pacing and animation automatically.
📱 Versatile Layouts: Choose from Single, Duo, or Triple scenes to mix images effortlessly.
🎥 10+ Motion Presets: Smooth pans, wipes, and parallax effects built-in.
🎨 Beautiful Backgrounds: Use our gradients and abstracts, or upload your own.
🚀 Social-Ready Exports: Perfect aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for TikTok, Reels, and X.
💻 Cross-Platform: Available now for macOS and Linux (Windows is coming soon!).
A quick note for the makers & devs: This is a completely Open Source project and free forever. No watermarks, no hidden costs.
Fun fact: Most of the motion presets were actually generated by AI! (as a fullstack developer i just know bounce and fade animations) 🤖 Since the project is open source, our door is always open on GitHub. If you have an idea for a new animation style, feel free to contribute!
I’d love for you to give it a spin and let me know what you think. Your feedback implies the world to me! 🚀
Thanks for checking it out!
