honestly the no recovery angle is bold and kind of scary at the same time. one thing that would help though is a printable paper backup kit you can store somewhere physical, like a safety deposit box, since people will absolutely lose access otherwise
@hakk231638 Of course, it should be non-recoverable. Because it is meant to be, The safety is the key.
Imagine you have a physical Vault in your home; of course it should be secure and have only one password, and this is a digital one!!! There are many ways to hack, so the strength of the application is a non-recoverable password.
What do you do with backup keys of your accounts like Gmail, Digital Wallets, ...
Everything has a trade-off, but I don't believe that this is a trade-off this is a point.
Anyway, the new version is updated! Now it is multilingual.
@hakk231638 Yeah, @aysel1129285 is right, one way for recovery is trusted contacts, you can put yourself in trusted contacts.
And this gave me an idea! Rating trusted contacts to send in order.
One thing that would be a real comfort for families using this would be a trusted contact recovery option that still respects the no-backdoor promise. Something like letting users pre-designate a person who gets access only after a long inactivity timer or a multi-step verification process.
