Hi Everyone! First of all, thanks Eric! That means a lot for us and for the team. I'm Misha, the founder of the LifeTracker.io - and Nik is my co-founder and brilliant CTO that makes all our ideas happen. We have started work on this product a year ago, when we understood several things: 1. It's difficult to remember everything, be it small routine things to do (pay bills, buy stuff, call people) or actions that lead to our long-term life goals and priorities (learn language, prepare for travel in Asia, eat healthy food). 2. Existing approached such as classical GTD were created 15 years ago when we the state of technology was a little bit different. Moreover, they ask to be kind of super-machine, and from my experience it takes 1-3 years(!) to master that discipline of manual set up for everything. 3. Today we have cheap computing power for ML algorithms and sensors in our smartphones which are 24/7 with us. It's stupid not to tech them to be context aware. So we did it and fine-tune it every day. The challenge was to utilize raw sensory data to recognize current user context and be able to adjust behavior of app to the lifestyle of individual user in real-time. This is just a first iteration, but all the basic stuff is there. It learns from you, unlike most of existing software. We just want to put all dirty work on our smartphones shoulders;), so we can offload our memory and nervous system and let LifeTracker remind us about right thing to do at the right time. Thanks, and happy to answer your questions. Warmest wishes from Lisbon (tomorrow starts Web Summit '16, and you can find us in a flesh at stand #222), Misha

@mishanestor so how it works?
Misha Nestor
@creotiv @mishanestor Hi Andrey! In a few words, you put the task or reminder when it comes to your mind (no need for long planning or decomposition), choose the relevant category for it, and you can customize any of the reminder parameters of course. Then, from time to time, when you are in progress with this or similar task, you just let the LifeTracker know it by starting the task (press 'play' sign). We match different user actions with sensory data from smartphone and some secret source elements. As a result, whenever you're in similar context in the future, LifeTracker proactively reminds you about relevant thing to do, even if they have no alert settings at all! This is the basic thing, there are others like checking your calendar for free time slots to fit your task etc.
Misha Nestor
@creotiv The other thing is that we understand that life if volatile, so LifeTracker adjusts itself to personal behavior and changes in schedule. It takes into account everything - from your answers to advices and dialogs inside the app to time of task completion to the balance of different aspect of life. The more you do with LifeTracker, the more personalized it becomes. Happy to answer more questions!

Thank you for making an Android version first! You truly are the hero we need. :)
Misha Nestor
@thehashrocket Yep, our back-end is built on Java, and for such a complex project it gave us more control and flexibility, so it's already the second version of Android app, and iOS works with the same API, but Android did the most difficult job;)
Jason Shultz
@mishanestor I just love seeing developers support the platform and not treat it as an ugly duckling especially considering it's the dominant mobile OS.
Misha Nestor
@thehashrocket no way! it isn't just about technology, it's also about literally billions of people in world that we want to give access to this level of tools.

@mishanestor @ruslan_nazarenko since I was experiencing issues with my initial beta sign up, you posted a direct link for the iOS beta on here a while ago. I lost it 😟 tried to reenroll, but again it said too many requests. Could you help me out so I can test on iOS? Cheers!

Wow, I have been making context aware apps from the past 5 years... I think this is really awesome! 1 What all points of context do you observe apart from time? 2 My team made an automatic Quantified Self platform Instant: http://instantapp.today, would you be interested in integrating any of the data sets in your app? (We can work together on that)
Misha Nestor
@shashwatpradhan Sure, ping me at info@lifetracker.io - I'll get your letter and respond to you!
Smokie
@mishanestor @shashwatpradhan @lifetracker This is exciting! I love Instant and this app looks promising too. Keep it up guys!
