Liang is a small macOS menu bar app that shows your AI coding agent's state on your screen, no more switching back to check. A soft glow around the notch, a glow following your cursor, and a menu bar icon show whether your agent (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, CodeBuddy) is thinking, waiting, or done. Each state has its own color. It uses each IDE's official hooks and is local-first: no account, no telemetry, no cloud, and never reads your code or prompts. macOS 14+ and Apple Silicon only.
