Existing tools could transcribe or translate, but they rarely helped me actually understand and learn from the content. I wanted a tool that could turn any audio, video, document, or text into a bilingual reading experience. That's why LexCat combines transcription, translation, AI summaries, and key insights in one place. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to export bilingual transcripts as Anki or CSV flashcards directly from a selected sentence, so I can turn tricky vocabulary from lectures into quick review decks without copy-pasting everything by hand.

The sentence-by-sentence translation layout looks like a really thoughtful touch. Most tools dump everything into one block, so actually having each line paired for easy comparison is a smart UX move.
