letX has been live since January and 3,112 people are using it across 268 universities and research labs. Today is the first time I have asked anyone to look. I kept losing afternoons to LaTeX that would not compile. Not to writing it: to a missing brace on line 340, an undefined citation, a table that silently overflowed the margin. Every AI writing tool I tried did the same thing. Hand me LaTeX, wish me luck. They cannot compile, so they have never seen my log. letX runs a real TeX Live farm, so Lexi does the loop a person does: edit, compile, read what latexmk said, fix that line, compile again. Every edit snapshots first, because an AI with write access to your thesis needs an undo that works. Free gives you unlimited collaborators, all 1,019 templates and the whole editor. Excited to finally share LetX with the community!

One of our biggest technical focuses was solving the classic "blind AI" problem in LaTeX. Instead of just spitting out code snippets that break your build, Lexi actually loops over the compiler diagnostics and fixes compilation errors directly against real TeX Live outputs. On top of that, every edit automatically snapshots so you never have to worry about an AI wrecking a paper right before a deadline.
