The inspiration for Lektify came when I first started my investment journey. Like many beginners, I was advised to "Just invest in the S&P 500 and forget about it." While solid advice for a newbie, my curiosity soon led me to explore specific industries and niches. That's when I realized how overwhelming it can be to find targeted investment opportunities. I stumbled upon the GICS classification system, but it still felt too broad. For instance, searching for "copper mining in Africa" or "Crowdstrike competitors" didn’t yield the precise results I was looking for. That's where Lektify steps in—bringing a more refined approach to stock discovery. A trader friend of mine once shared a valuable insight: the power of investing in indirect demand. Most people, when looking to invest in Artificial Intelligence, might go straight for big names like Google, Microsoft, or Nvidia. But savvy traders also consider the companies that indirectly benefit, such as those extracting silicon for GPU production. Lektify isn't just about giving you the obvious picks. It dives deeper, uncovering indirect demand opportunities across Raw Materials, Processed Materials, and Labor Services, making it a unique tool for investors who want to think outside the box.

This sounds really interesting, @zecdev! I'm curious about how Lektify differentiates between direct and indirect demand opportunities. Do you have any examples of stocks that have benefited from this approach? Also, what features does it offer for users who are new to stock analysis?

Hi @ezshine! For direct demand, we use embeddings based on company descriptions. To identify indirect demand, we leverage a well-crafted prompt through OpenAI's API. Personally, I find it especially useful in niches where I have limited information, and it’s great for beginners when news breaks. For example, when Crowdstrike had its security issue a few weeks ago, you could quickly search for 'Crowdstrike competitors' and find stocks to consider investing in. Now that you mention it, I’m thinking of adding a 'Trending' section where, based on current news, I can generate queries that users can explore as soon as they visit the site.
