Hey all 👋 I am an IT Professional, IT Director at a major company and running my own successful web agency for over 15 years now. Our agency also running a online security department. I have a great job, but most folks just call me Legit Checker ! Especially during Black Friday, Cyber Monday and sales friends, family, coworkers, clients flood my Gmail inbox and my social media accounts inbox with questions like, "Hey is that offer real ?", "May I trust xxxxx.com to buy this phone".... And guess what. Over 50% of people contact me they hit a scam site trying that pretends to be legit ! Also 60% of people contact me they have been scam online at least one time! So at the past years I start research with my team and start collect data from several sites, social media etc. We create a database and we prototype how scammers works. Most of the sites use 15 Ways to Scam You. Some more simple some more advance practices that even experience users may be scammed ! So we developed a methodology on how to identify these sites, sellers, social media frauds and more and decide to make a site offer that knowledge. If brought to the right crowd this could replace old methods of this on the internet. Great work! Going to be following your journey. One idea of expanding would be getting a verification system in place where people could get your rating added to their website if they meet specific criteria.

Users that they want to stay inform and updated about latest scam alerts, security news, industry news and bussiness that may need our certification services. Starting 2 December will run a soft social media campaing targeting to gather 100 users interstring about our services.
