Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jiri, and I built Legal Policy Generator. Every time I shipped a side project, I got stuck at the same point: I needed a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The options were copying someone else's policy, paying a monthly subscription for a document that barely changes, or pasting AI-written legal text that nobody could check. So I built a generator that works differently: 🧩 Clauses come from a library, not from an AI. You answer factual questions (what you collect, which tools you use, where your users are). Fixed rules pick versioned clauses from a library we maintain. The same answers always produce the same document, and no AI writes your legal text. 🔎 Every regional clause shows its source. GDPR, UK GDPR, California (CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA), other US state laws, COPPA, Canada, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. Each regional clause records the official text it was checked against and when it was last reviewed. It's all public on the methodology page. 🤖 It works inside your AI agent. There's an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or Codex can read your codebase, fill in the facts, and create a draft for you to review before anything is published. 💸 Pricing: - The questionnaire, preview and simple HTML/PDF download are free, with no account. - Advanced regional modules cost $5 once. - Hosting on a public, versioned link costs $0.99 once. - A $5/month plan covers everything. To be upfront about what it isn't: it's not a law firm or legal advice, generated documents are in English only (the site itself is in 10 languages), and it doesn't include a cookie-consent banner.
