LeftBehind helps you check important items before you leave home, work, hotels, or travel stops. It uses privacy-safe signals like trusted Wi-Fi and movement state to suggest the right checklist at the right moment, without GPS tracking. You can create place-based checklists, use voice input, and switch to travel mode for hotel checkout, airport, and trip essentials.

Hey Product Hunt!
I built LeftBehind because I kept having that tiny panic after leaving a place: “Did I bring my wallet? Keys? Charger?”
Most checklist apps make you open the app and remember to check. I wanted something more context-aware, but still private. LeftBehind uses simple on-device signals like trusted Wi-Fi, movement state, and your manual place status to suggest the right checklist when you are about to leave.
No GPS tracking. No accounts. No server.
It started as a home/work essentials checker, but grew into travel and hotel mode too: hotel outing, checkout, airport, station, and trip checklists.
I’d love feedback on the onboarding, the Pro/free balance, and whether the “privacy-first departure checklist” idea feels clear.

The Wi-Fi-based place detection is such a clever move, feels much less invasive than constant GPS pinging. Love that the checklist just appears when I hit my usual café or hotel, no fuss.

@aytengulcaua1n Thanks, Ayten! That was exactly the goal — context-aware without feeling invasive. I wanted LeftBehind to rely on lightweight, private signals instead of constant GPS. Really glad that came through!
