Left on Read: Open, anonymous interview reports

Job hunting right now is brutal, and the worst part usually isn’t the rejection. It’s the silence. You do the screen, the take home, meet the team, hear “we’ll be in touch by Friday,” and then nothing. Companies know everything about you by round three, and you know nothing about how they treat people until it happens to you.

So I built TheyNeverReplied, a free and anonymous record of how companies actually treat candidates.

How it works:

• Pick a company, say how far you got, how it ended, and how long they’ve left you hanging

• Flag the stuff that makes hiring miserable: unpaid take homes, interviewers who no-show, job posts that don’t match the job, endless rounds

• Others can hit “Same here” when it happened to them too, so patterns show up fast

• Ghost Clock tracks processes you’re waiting on and tells you when it’s reasonable to follow up, with an email you can copy

What I cared about most was making it safe to post. No accounts, no email, and your IP address is never stored. Reports are about companies, never individual recruiters. And a company only gets a ghost score after 5 reports, so one bad day can’t define it.

It just launched, so it’s still pretty empty. It gets more useful with every report.
