Ledgify - Built this for myself, figured others might find it useful too So I hate recording expenses. Like, really hate it. Tracking stuff across different accounts, trying to remember what that random $47 charge was for three weeks later. It's the worst. Started building this just for my own use because I got tired of the whole mess. Pulls everything from Plaid, dumps it on your personal iCloud (no database collecting your info), and just tallies everything up. If I need to record something that doesn't come from the bank, I just screenshot it in a chat view and done. Built it using Cursor/Windsurf with Claude doing most of the heavy lifting (though Claude has this annoying habit of overcoding everything and occasionally just making stuff up). I'm not a CS person - just self-taught and mess around with Swift as a hobby. Most of my complex projects fail spectacularly, but sometimes you get something that actually works. What it does: Connects to your bank via Plaid Everything stays on your iCloud, no central database Chat interface for adding random expenses (just screenshot receipts) Monthly tallies without the headache Works on iPhone, iPad, Mac I know expense tracking apps are a dime-a-dozen. But if you're like me and just want something simple that doesn't make you want to throw your phone, might be worth a spin. Please be kind.
