LedgerPort syncs Shopify and WooCommerce to QuickBooks Online — sales, fees, refunds, and taxes — and reconciles each payout to your bank deposit, splitting the net number back into its parts so the books match the bank. Built for US businesses: multi-store operators, and the CPAs and bookkeeping firms managing them, each with their own dashboard. Pricing is a fixed monthly slab based on your order volume, so you know the bill before it arrives. Summary or order-level sync, per store.

Hi PH 👋
Anyone who's run a Shopify or WooCommerce store knows the monthly ritual: the payout report says one number, QuickBooks says another, and you spend an afternoon figuring out why. They never match because stores pay out a net number — gross sales minus fees and refunds — and QuickBooks has no way to read that on its own.
We built LedgerPort to be the translation layer. It posts your sales, fees, refunds, and taxes to QuickBooks Online and splits each payout back into its parts so it matches your bank deposit. If you run more than one store — or you're a CPA or bookkeeper managing many clients — you do it all from one dashboard, with summary or order-level sync per store.
Two decisions we made early that shaped the product:
— Pricing is a fixed monthly slab based on your order volume. You know the bill before the month starts, and it doesn't creep with every sale.
— We serve US businesses only for now. Narrow on purpose — we'd rather get US tax handling and QuickBooks Online workflows exactly right before going wider.
Free for 14 days, no card. We're here all day and would love your feedback — especially from store operators, CPAs, and bookkeepers who live in this problem every month-end.
@nirvana_guha Congratulations on the launch. I upvoted LedgerPort because reconciling ecommerce payouts with QuickBooks is a real pain point, and your approach should save finance teams a lot of time every month. How are you handling historical backfills for stores with large transaction volumes?
@spotch_founder Great question — backfill is where sync tools usually fall over, so we gave it its own subsystem (we call it Time Machine). A few design choices that matter at volume:
1. You choose the grain, per store. For high-volume stores, summary-level sync is the answer: each day collapses into a compact journal entry instead of thousands of individual sales receipts, so a two-year backfill doesn't flood QuickBooks with tens of thousands of objects. Order-level detail is there when you want it — it's a per-store choice, not all-or-nothing.
2. Imports are idempotent. Every record is deduplicated automatically, so a re-run (or an import over partially-synced data) can't double-book revenue. This one kept our QA team busy for a while.
3. Nothing fails silently. Every sync attempt is logged with a status; errors are filterable with one-click re-sync, so a backfill that hits a snag at record 40,000 doesn't make you start over — or worse, leave a gap you don't notice.
Currently we support backfilling up to 24 months of history. What volume are you working with? Happy to get specific.
honestly this looks really useful for my setup, but one thing that would save me a ton of back and forth is if the dashboard flagged any payout that doesnt fully reconcile and showed exactly which order or fee is the mismatch, basically a quick "here is the problem" button instead of me digging through lines trying to figure out what broke.
@yamurf0g2 Thank you so much for your interest and feedback. Right now, we only have sync mismatch flags and not transaction level flags. But this is an incredibly useful feature suggestion. And we're just getting started with LedgerPort, so keep your eyes peeled for future updates! Loads of love. And if you need help getting started, please do drop us a line.
What's the setup process like? --Rough timeline?
@elise_pickersgill Thanks for your interest. It takes 15-20 minutes to set up the entire workflow. We made a nice little YouTube video documenting how easy the process is. If there are any specific queries, you can always reach out to our support team as well. :)
Hi everyone — Rakesh here, General Manager at LedgerPort.
One thing I didn't expect when we started building this: we assumed multi-store owners would be our loudest early users. It turned out to be the accountants. Bookkeepers and CPAs kept telling us the same story — every new e-commerce client arrives with a QuickBooks file that needs untangling before any real work can start, and every tool they tried was built for a single store owner, not for someone running fifteen clients.
So the firm side became a first-class part of the product, not an afterthought: one login for all your clients, sync health for every file on one screen, a per-client audit trail, and summary or order-level detail chosen per client. If you do books for online stores, that dashboard was built from your complaints — I'd genuinely like to know where it still falls short.
The other thing I'll add to what the team said above: we read every piece of feedback that comes in this early. If your month-end has a step that still hurts — a payout that wouldn't reconcile, a report you had to build by hand — drop it in this thread. The next few things we build will come from lists exactly like this one.
Thanks for having us, PH. I'll be here all day.
Hi everyone! Akash here, one of the engineers behind LedgerPort.
A lot of the work behind LedgerPort isn't something you'll notice in the UI - and that's by design. We spent a lot of time making sure syncing is reliable, because accounting data has to be correct every single time.
Some of the engineering challenges we focused on were:
• Making sync operations idempotent so retries never create duplicate entries.
• Building detailed sync logs with one-click re-sync for failed records.
• Supporting historical backfills without compromising data integrity.
• Giving businesses the flexibility to choose between summary-level and order-level sync based on their workflow.
It's been incredibly rewarding to watch these pieces come together into a product that helps merchants and accountants spend less time reconciling data and more time growing their business.
If you're curious about how we built any of these systems - or have questions about the technical side of LedgerPort - I'd love to chat. Thanks for checking us out, and we'd really appreciate your feedback! 🚀
Hi Everyone 👋
Ayushi from the Customer Success team at LedgerPort. The team's said most of it already, so let me make it concrete from my seat: I'm the one reading your messages and running your onboarding calls.
If something in your month-end still hurts, I'm the person who hears it first — the payout that wouldn't tie out, the report you rebuild by hand every single month. Those notes are what end up in front of the product team. So two asks. If you try it and get stuck, message me and I'll help you get unstuck fast, no queue, just me.
And if there's a workflow LedgerPort doesn't cover yet, tell me straight. I'd much rather hear it now than have you quietly work around it.
Really looking forward to meeting the store operators, CPAs, and bookkeepers in this thread :)

Huge congrats on the launch, team! 🎉
Payout reconciliation is one of those problems every store owner grumbles about and then just... lives with. Really glad to see the WooCommerce crowd getting first-class treatment here too, not just Shopify. Wishing you a monster day. 🚀
@tirrell Thanks, Zach. Means a lot to us!
