Hi everyone — I'm Meagan, founder of LedgerOS. 👋
I built this because I kept watching small businesses make six-figure decisions off a spreadsheet and a gut feeling — not because they're careless, but because hiring a finance team costs more than most of them make in a year. My own included.
LedgerOS is a finance-ops workspace for businesses without a finance team: import your real payout/transaction CSVs (Etsy, Shopify, PayPal, Stripe out of the box) or connect QuickBooks, and it gives you dashboards, a 13-week cash view, budget-vs-actual, a guided month-end close, internal controls with an audit trail, and self-serve team seats with per-plan caps — invite your bookkeeper or accountant with their own role, inside your plan's seat count. Plain English, no accounting degree required.
What I'm most proud of, and what I'd genuinely love you to push on: the Trust Center (https://www.getledgeros.app/trust?ref=producthunt-202610) — every control in the app maps to auditable evidence, and we publish our own claims there. We also encrypt and back up every workspace off-machine every 10 minutes; a few weeks ago a routine deploy wiped our own live database. We restored it from our newest snapshot, verified it, and restarted onto it — that part was manual then; today the newest encrypted off-site snapshot restores automatically at boot, proven in a live drill. That's not a marketing claim, it's the incident note on our Trust Center. And sign-in can now be two-factor on every plan — free tier included: an authenticator app plus ten single-use recovery codes, self-serve in Settings in about a minute, off until you turn it on, and a workspace owner can require it for everyone.
