Unlike invoicing tools where reminders are an afterthought, Ledgerly is built entirely around them: automatic escalating reminders (1/7/14/30 days), sent in your client's own language, plus a manual send option and PDF invoice scanning that extracts details automatically. Clients get a payment-behavior score so you know who to watch before they go quiet.

Hey everyone! 👋
I've been freelancing for a while, and the part of the job that always
got me wasn't the work itself — it was writing the follow-up email
when a client went quiet on an invoice. I'd draft something, delete
it, draft it again, and just check my bank account instead of actually
sending anything.
So I built Ledgerly to do that part for me — it tracks invoices and
automatically sends a reminder when one goes overdue, escalating at
1, 7, 14, and 30 days, without me having to decide every time whether
today was the day I'd finally say something.
A few things I ended up adding along the way that I'm pretty happy
with:
— reminders go out in your client's own language (English, German,
Czech so far)
— you can upload a PDF invoice and it pulls out the client, line
items, and totals automatically instead of manual entry
— each client gets a payment-behavior tag (fast payer, needs nudging,
chronic late payer) based on real history
Still early days — built solo, learning a lot as I go (including a
genuinely chaotic few days figuring out DNS and email domains, ask me
about it). Would love any feedback, especially if something's
confusing or missing. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏

Tried the PDF scan feature and it pulled out line items way better than I expected. The 1/7/14/30 reminder schedule feels way less awkward than chasing people yourself.

The escalating reminder schedule is such a smart default, I stopped dreading the follow-up emails. The language auto-detection caught a French client I would have totally missed otherwise.
