What do you think? …

Graham Hunter
I love the concept but will people really use a stand alone app to post to social just for money?
Erik Finman
@MarketerGraham I think they're advertising it wrong. In the app you see a bunch of photos from fb/twitter/instagram and the users job is to look through them and see if they're any products in the photo. By doing that you get paid. The other side of it is (which is kinda a shortcut) you just post products of brands and tag them that way. Either way the brand benefits and you get paid!
Lawrence Sowell
@erikfinman that's not correct. It's just a network to share photos and monetize them in the process. Version 2.0 will be tagging optional not required as in Version 1.0.

Leafit: Ruining any semblance of friendship you may have had on social networks.
Lawrence Sowell
@Shpigford not quite Josh, give Leafit some time to grow up and develop. Thanks
Kevin Chau
So, getting paid to spam Facebook. Nothing new here, move along.
Lawrence Sowell
@kchau not correct it's user content monetization. Not spamming facebook.
Lawrence Sowell
@kchau the idea behind Leafit is to share your life like you already do and be the one to monetize it in the process rather than being monetized on top of by the network. Our long term vision is to allow users to monetize their content and data with us if they so choose.

This startup is from my hometown in Idaho!

@erikfinman nice to see your support here! Thanks

Concept is interesting especially as we are seeing a change in the digital storefront, however in this case the affiliate system and enrollments seems to point toward a pyramid scheme. (see the comp plan: https://s3.amazonaws.com/leaf-st...)
Lawrence Sowell
@andrewrlin this is not. The MLM biz model is moving to a new entity. Leafit is free and always will be.
