$299 retail would have been nice, but $650 is still a relatively inexpensive skateboard. Especially considering Boast Boards are around $1,200.

Looks great but that is IF they deliver the product. There isn't much confidence offered except "Our team has the necessary talent, skills, experience, and expertise to tackle any obstacles should they arise." Not very specific. So pay 299 and MAYBE get a board or pay 650 and definitely get one that has all the v1 production defects sorted out. Your choice.
Seems really interesting, although when scrolling through the comments on the Kickstarter I ended up on this Reddit page:

Which turned a couple of red flags here, if any of the makers are here on PH could you maybe elaborate a bit on this and take away these concerns?
