I built LeadTrapper after watching a friend spend 3 hours every morning manually copying business phone numbers from Google Maps into a spreadsheet, then messaging each one on WhatsApp one by one.
He was running a B2B supply company in Dubai and had no budget for Apollo or PhantomBuster ($69–99/month). So he was doing it by hand. Every. Single. Day.
I built the first version just to solve his problem — scrape Google Maps, get the phone numbers, send the WhatsApp messages automatically. It worked so well that he started sharing it with other suppliers in his network.
That's when I realized this wasn't a niche problem. Real estate agents, restaurant equipment suppliers, recruitment firms, marketing agencies — anyone selling B2B in markets where WhatsApp is the primary communication channel faces this exact bottleneck.
The hardest part was building the anti-ban system. WhatsApp actively fights bulk sending. We had to layer phone validation, spin syntax, auto-delay, multi-account rotation, blacklist management, and account warm-up to make campaigns that run for weeks without bans.
