I built LeadGuide because I think the AI sales industry is heading in the wrong direction.
Every week, there's a new "AI SDR" promising to replace salespeople by blasting thousands of cold emails and LinkedIn messages. In reality, the results are often poor: generic conversations, low response rates, and long-term brand damage.
Sales is a human-to-human job. Nobody wants to buy from a lazy salesperson who's outsourced the conversation to an AI Agent. The best deals come from judgment, trust, and authentic conversations. AI shouldn't replace salespeople - it should remove the tedious work around selling.
The idea for LeadGuide came from my own workflow. I was already using ChatGPT and Claude to research prospects and plan my outreach. They were incredibly useful - but they had no sales judgment and no memory of my pipeline, conversations, or relationships.
That's why LeadGuide doesn't send messages for you. It researches prospects, prepares sales briefs, recommends the best next step, and helps you draft personalized messages in your own voice. AI does the prep - but you do the actual sales.
Think of it as a Sales Copilot, not an AI SDR.

The voice matching feature sounds really useful for keeping outreach authentic. One thing that would take this further is a built-in reply classifier that tags incoming responses by intent like interested, not now, or not a fit, so the next step suggestion updates automatically. Would save a lot of manual sorting for founders juggling everything themselves.
@ecegencogl26083 Thanks for the suggestion! I'm also looking at all the potential ways to make the messages look less AI generated and more human/natural. I recently came across this Claude skill, which removes signs of AI-generated writing from text: https://github.com/blader/humanizer
I love it!! I've tried many AI SDR tools but they always miss the mark, it's the first time I actually find a tool that does the automation part but where I'm still in control!
Love that you put "AI does the prep, you stay in control" front and center. Most SDR tools bury that distinction, but it shows you actually thought about who this is for.
