Hi Product Hunt, I'm Marisa, founder and CTO of LE VERE.
I came to this through insurance claims, and a family with five decades in the industry. Where I kept seeing the same thing: the gap between insured and covered almost always came down to missing documentation. People lose what they own, and the record of it, at the worst possible moment.
But the deeper gap is the story. An object holds provenance and value. It also holds the hands it passed through, why it mattered, and the voice that can name it. What is never documented gets lost, and what is never told goes quiet.
LE VERE is the system I wished existed. A secure place to document, value, and protect what you own, and to hold the story behind each item, not just its receipt.
It pairs document capture through OCR with live valuation, severe weather alerts based on location, speech-to-text integration, so that the voice that holds the meaning stays with the object. Privacy-first throughout. I call the category Visible Ownership™: what you own, fully known. The layer beneath it I call Story Beyond Possession™.
I architected and built the first prototype myself, with a small external team building alongside my technical direction. It is live today on iOS and Android. I would love all your candid feedback, and I am here all day to answer any questions.

Good morning, Maker here. I'll be around all day to answer anything. ✨
Brief version of why I built LE VERE? Most people can tell you what's in their bank account, but not what they own. The watch, the art, the heirloom with a meaningful story only one person in the family still remembers. That can't be recalled in time of loss. I built with that in mind.
The question I'd appreciate your take on: What is one object you own, that you'd most like documented? The value, provenance, and story captured before it is only a memory turned to a question mark?

Curious what comes to mind.
