LazyBinger turns your iPhone into a universal remote for 12 TV platforms (Samsung, LG, Roku, Apple TVβ¦) What's different from the dozens of remote apps out there: β’ Camera auto-pilot: prop your phone facing the TV and it skips intros & recaps for you β on a real TV, not a browser extension β’ Voice "magic words" that work even with the screen locked β’ Wake-on-LAN to turn the TV back ON, not just off β’ A sleep timer for any TV β’ 100% local β no account, ads or tracking Made for watching in bed

The prop-phone camera trick for skipping intros is genuinely clever, actually saved me from watching the same Stranger Things cold open twice last night. Sleep timer is a nice touch too.
@dndpocpΒ Ha β saving you from a second Stranger Things cold open is basically why LazyBinger exists π Glad the intro-skip trick clicked; the whole point was to make "skip this" one move instead of a fumble for the remote. And happy the sleep timer earned its keep too β that one's for everyone who's woken up three episodes deep π Thanks for the kind words π
propped my phone on a pillow and the auto skip intros thing actually worked on my LG, which kind of blew my mind honestly. the locked screen voice control is the real winner though, no more fumbling for the remote at 1am.
@cengizrakalarΒ The pillow setup is exactly how it's meant to work, so you nailed it π Honestly, auto-skip landing on an LG still feels a little like magic to me too. And you went straight for my favorite β lock-screen voice control came out of that precise 1am moment: remote's gone, someone's already asleep, and you just want the next episode to start. Really happy it's pulling its weight on your nightstand π
honestly the camera auto-pilot sounds wild, super cool for bed watching. one thing that would make it perfect for me though: a "last channel" hotkey or quick bookmark for the show i fell asleep to, so i can just tap and resume the next night without scrolling.
@ayselbac7079Β "Wild" made me grin π And this is a great ask β it fits the whole bed-watching thing perfectly. A plain last-channel hotkey is the easy version, but the one you actually want is smarter: the sleep timer already knows what was playing when it knocked out, so LazyBinger could pop a one-tap "resume last night's show" the second you open the app. No scrolling, no hunting for where you dozed off. Genuinely sharp idea β I'll come find you when there's a build to try π
