Hey Product Hunt, I run an international business, clients across a dozen countries, so my day mixes Latin, Cyrillic, and half a dozen other scripts. I got sick of retyping the same snippets for the hundredth time. So Layouto started as a text expander: type addr and your whole address appears, type mp3tom4a and out comes afconvert -f m4af -d aac input.mp3 output.m4a, the command I run constantly and can never remember. Then I added the other thing I kept needing. Catching a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout, so Μερηαβα turns back into Merhaba across Cyrillic, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic and Latin scripts. I also added accessibility features I actually use myself: spoken and sound feedback for every correction, so I don't have to squint at a tiny menu bar icon to know what happened. Apps already do each of these alone, but I wanted one simple app instead of three heavy ones. And the result is quite impressive. Layouto is 10MB, runs quietly in the menu bar, everything on your Mac, no account, no server, nothing.
