Layer Outer

Hello PH! Allow me to introduce Layer Outer, an interface design tool made specifically for the iPad (with support for the iPhone too!) that is aiming to be the companion app of choice for designers. Layer Outer can do all of the "document" things with .sketch files on iPadOS and iOS — open, create, edit, and save. This is an app that I desperately wished existed. I love working on my iPad Pro and envisioned an interface design tool that took cues from what a designer would be used to from their desktop suite and mixed that with the advancements in interactivity afforded by a touch screen. Not to mention the iPad Pro is a screamin' machine and I thought it'd be a dream to work on new designs and prototypes on one. My goal is to deliver for you designers out there a fresh, fast, quick, out-of-your-way access point to your .sketch files from your iOS devices. There is truly a lot of ground still left to cover, so in an effort to be as transparent as possible, you'll find a "Features" list inside the app that lists everything that is currently supported and everything that is coming soon so you can know for sure whether a feature you lean on is supported yet or not.
