Hey Product Hunt! So, almost 2 years ago I watched a youtube video by @noahkagan about the law of 100, and how it is an idea that helps form habits. As someone who struggles to form habits, I felt the simplicity of tracking 1 habit at a time, along with a set goal you work towards (100 days/habit instances) was something I could really use. And so, I spent a week designing, developing and launching an MVP of that product. It was great, got a lot of users, feedback and positive comments. But, the product itself was a little rough due to the fact I am a designer, not a developer. So, a few months ago I shared this idea with kuv.io and we decided to re-design and re-build it as part of the sparc cooperative. Which, brings me to today's launch. We wanted to keep the core product the same. A simple way to create and track your habit and its progress. However, we added a few new things such as reminders, community sharing, motivational tips, and more importantly, a strong foundation to add more features in the future. So, if you have been putting off starting a new habit, take a few minutes to go and set up a new one with Lawof100.co and start your Day 1, and I will be rooting for you the entire time. Thanks!

That's exactly what I was looking for ~ Good luck, guys!

@yuryfication thank you! I hope you find it useful 🙏

I wanted to login with twitter but having to agree with a long list of permissions scared me out of it. Could you perhaps tell me why each one is needed? The product looks awesome tho. Thanks.
Kieran Parker
@neven_jevtic as far as I know this is just the standard/default permissions for the social login/signup service It is learning though maybe @josephayoung can share more light on it ☺️

@neven_jevtic @kieranparker77 I've reduced the required permissions down to what appears to be Twitter's most basic set for login, and it should be effective immediately. The app doesn't use any of the remaining read-only permissions either, so I'm gonna see if I can figure out how to reduce that list further. Thank you for your feedback! <3

@kieranparker77 @josephayoung Awesome! Thanks guys!

I like the idea! I have a concept for a community based around changing habits too. I may ship it this year. I'll keep an eye on how you're going! 👏
Kieran Parker
@flying_hacker that’s awesome! I think having a community around habit building really helps 👌
Rich Taylor
@kieranparker77, totally. I'll hit you up for feedback when the time comes! I plan to ship multiple projects this year so it should make the cut!

Small good actions are what create those habits that most benefit us. I'm currently reading James Clear's bestseller"Atomic Habits" and think the Lawof100.co can create those atomic habits we need. Congrats and good luck!!
Kieran Parker
@jfalcon Love that book and you are 100% right, this could tie into those small actions

Cool idea to have the timelines public for users to share their progress. @kieranparker77 This speaks to me because a while back I had the idea of a social network focusing on productivity allowing you to "work in public" and talk to others about it. With your implementation of Law of 100 this is one step in such a direction.
Kieran Parker
@alexander_eble thank you Alexander I think a simple social aspect can add so much to products like this. Whether to act as accountability, motivation, etc. I love sharing progress on my projects and twitter is just so noisy so let me know if you explore your idea further!

I feel like the sharing aspect could make this product work better than similar apps. Also, thanks for adding motivational tips.
