The global LGBTQ+ travel directory. Discover gay bars, hotels, restaurants, beaches, and pride events in queer-friendly destinations worldwide. I want Lavender Atlas to be the place you look up the queer spaces and events you want to go, save them for your trip, and then use it while on your trip to map out your route easily.

Hey Product Hunt! I am the solo founder of Lavender Atlas.
I built Lavender Atlas because planning LGBTQ+ travel has always felt more difficult than it should. Before every trip, I'd end up searching dozens of blogs, outdated websites, Reddit threads, and Google Maps just to figure out where to stay, which neighborhoods were welcoming, and what places were actually worth visiting.
I wanted one place that made all of that easier.
Lavender Atlas is a directory of 3,000+ LGBTQ+ friendly hotels, bars, restaurants, cafés, beaches, bathhouses, and other venues across the world. You can browse by city, explore on an interactive map, and quickly find places that make trip planning less stressful.
This has been a true solo project. I designed the product, built the application, populated and cleaned the dataset, and launched everything while working a full-time job. Every product decision came from trying to solve a problem I'd experienced myself.
I'm still early in the journey, and there's a lot more I want to build. Business claiming, richer city guides, community contributions, a mobile app, and personalized recommendations are all on the roadmap.
I'd genuinely love your feedback. What's missing? What would make this a resource you'd actually use when planning your next trip?
Thanks for checking out Lavender Atlas! 💜

Finally tried Lavender Atlas for our honeymoon planning and the beach guides alone sold me. Saving spots to a trip map is such an obvious feature but no other queer travel site has done it this cleanly.
