Lapsera is an Android app for filming timelapses of yourself studying or working, so the effort you put in becomes something you can see. It finds your face and pixelates it or covers it with a sticker, and it can blur your room, so you can post the video as it is. Everything runs on your phone. Your footage never leaves it.

Hi, I'm Sato, and I'm building Lapsera on my own.
I came across the timelapse study method and found it really interesting. You film yourself studying with your phone, turn it into a timelapse that makes your effort visible, and share it with others. I made Lapsera so anyone can do this easily, and I'd like it to help people keep going.
Study videos tend to show your face and your room. So you can post right away, Lapsera finds your face and pixelates it or covers it with a sticker, and it can blur the background. All of this happens on your phone, and your footage is never uploaded anywhere.
Now that it's built, though, I think it's handier than the timelapse mode in your phone's camera, even outside of studying. Please try it on other things too, like drawing or coding.
Which brings me to something I'm torn on: should I keep Lapsera focused on studying, or grow it into a general timelapse app? After trying it, which way would you go?
I'd also love to know:
Anything that confused you while using it
Other looks you'd want for the finished video
Whether you'd use an iOS version
It's Android only for now, and every feature is free.
