Dealing with death is hard. Lantern is your step-by-step guide on how to navigate your life before and after a death. Create a pre-plan or navigate the logistics after a death.
I'm a planner about pretty much everything, but had never really thought about planning for my death - which means if something happened to me suddenly, my partner and family be responsible for everything. While I hope I have many long years ahead of me, I feel so much better with some preparation. Well done team Lantern -- and thank you.
As someone who has lost a parent and many close loved ones, I’ve experienced the difficult road that is making funeral arrangements in the midst of grief and lack of pre-planning. Lantern truly covers all bases in this process, even some I hadn’t previously considered. Thank you for the work that you do and for making the planning process so much easier.
@vanessa_trinidad Thank you so much. We are so grateful we can be here for you.

I am so thankful that Liz and Alyssa are tackling this problem and space that is so opaque and challenging to navigate for so many individuals and families. I knew they were the right people to build a solution that can support people emotionally and technically during the planning process and after the loss of a loved one. Congrats on your 1 year birthday and new launch Lantern!
Love this concept - it's quite thought provoking! I think the younger demographic (myself included) are not thinking about life after death, or the associated complexities. Perhaps daunting... but a product which is much needed! UX looks great, I'm eager to try this one out.
@lee_jacobs thanks so much, Lee! We can't wait to hear what you think.

Excellent. Thorough. Simple navigation.
This is an important site, It deals with issues people often avoid. It helps you think ahead so you aren't overwhelmed when someone close to you passes away.
@dasmit53 Thank you! And thank you for taking a look around!

I lost my mom last year unexpectedly and struggled to navigate everything that comes with the end of a life, while grieving. Months later, while I was still tying up loose ends with accounts, I looked back to see if I could find "better" options for funeral home, service options, etc. and realized there were many options that would have better suited our family, but we went with "familiar" options instead. Working through this "post mortem", I stumbled on Lantern. It was clear pretty much immediately it was the solution that would have helped me make good, supported decisions in the grief haze I was in rather than the stressful, just OK decisions that we ended up with.
I've since recommended Lantern to multiple others who have unfortunately lost people this year. Anyway, long story short: there are so many people who will benefit from Lantern and I couldn't recommend it more.
