Hey people on product hunt This is a totally honest first post, I didn't know about this platform a few days ago but since building this product it was recommended to me for getting my business out there in-front of peoples eyes. I am totally new to this, I have studied web design and coding in the past, been a part of a few start-ups and have recently been searching for that something that I really need, I cant sit still and I'm always thinking about starting a company and building something but I struggled to find what that something is, I'm sure most people have this issue also. After some research and looking online at other platforms I decided to build LandedHQ - this is a platform for SMBs in the UK that import products from around the world, Now I don't have a background in this area but I feel like I have built something that was missing in this sector and I'm sure people on here don't like dealing with government sites as they aren't made for convenience and still feel outdated. The whole point of LandedHQ was to modernise the import business and help more small and medium sized businesses with import duties and fees, also being able to add their suppliers to their own dashboard and track products in one place while also getting live alerts of any changes to the import percentage they pay on their goods, I have built this with Claude Code over many months and many different versions to hopefully get the most accurate calculator, I have also included a documents checker that checks things like invoices, quantity mismatches, wrong commodity codes along with many others and gives you feedback straight away of any potential issues. The site is still early and has only been live a few days now, I have been testing it and making sure that it displays correctly and everything works and leads to the correct area but I'm looking for people with fresh eyes or an importing background to give me their feedback on this.
