Shopify counts your stock. Landara costs it. Shopify holds one Cost per item per variant and overwrites it on every change, so last month's cost is gone and the freight invoice that lands three weeks late never reaches the units it paid for. Landara keeps a dated FIFO cost layer per receipt and draws it down oldest first, with freight and duty landed in before the layer forms. Out comes a ready-to-post journal for Xero or QuickBooks. Shopify keeps owning quantity, so there is no migration.
