Lampole turns little moments into something special. Shoot whatever you want, whenever you want with your people. At 9 AM the next morning, everyone's photos and 6-sec videos automatically become one slideshow with a soundtrack. No feed — you can't see each other's shots, react, or comment yet. At 9 AM, look back on everyone's shots. React to and comment on the day, not individual shots. Even a blurry selfie or an ordinary lunch can feel surprisingly moving when everyone's shots come together.

Hi Product Hunt — I made an app called Lampole.
A while ago I pulled a bunch of my friends’ Instagram posts into one slideshow, just for us. Nothing in it was special — lunch, a blurry selfie, someone’s dog. But strung together over one song, those nothing moments turned into something. I wanted that to be easy and casual, not a project.
So here’s what Lampole does:
You make an invite-only room with people you're close to (we call it a Space). Through the day, everyone shoots whatever with the in-app camera. At 9 the next morning, all of it — photos and videos up to 6 seconds long — comes back as one slideshow with a soundtrack (we call it a Roll). Day by day, you build up a shared archive you can revisit anytime.
A few decisions I made on purpose:
One day is the unit
Nobody sets a theme, picks a deadline, or asks people to post. The moment you have to plan something, it’s already a chore. The day closes on its own and the Roll shows up in the morning. Every Roll comes with a soundtrack, but you won't hear big-name artists like Taylor Swift. Instead, a soundtrack is automatically picked from my existing collection — like the one you hear in the demo video.
No feed during the day
You don’t scroll through each other’s shots — that’s what makes the next morning land. Seeing everyone's little moments come together as one. A home-screen widget still shows you who’s in today and one randomly selected shot from the day, so it’s not total silence. Just a glimpse, not a feed. And you'll NEVER get a notification screaming "⚠️ Time to Lampole ⚠️".
No likes on individual shots
Reactions and comments go on the whole day. Each Space has its own reaction set — like custom emoji on a Discord server — so every group ends up talking in its own language.
For now, Lampole is iPhone only. If you ever need help, I'll personally be on the other end. If four or five people come to mind right away, give it a shot with them.
