When we started building Kuinbee, the problem was very simple. Every time we needed data, it was a mess. We were either scraping unreliable sources, buying incomplete datasets, or spending weeks cleaning data before we could even begin analysis. The actual “insight” part was maybe 20% of the work, the rest was just fixing broken data. And we realized this isn’t just our problem. It’s everyone’s problem. Data is everywhere, but usable data is rare. That’s what pushed us to build Kuinbee as a curated data marketplace. Not just a place to buy datasets, but a place where every dataset is verified, structured, and actually usable from day one. We focused heavily on quality and trust: Validating sources before listing Standardizing formats so datasets are consistent Running multiple quality checks to ensure usability During the build, our thinking evolved a lot. Initially, we thought access to data was the main problem. But it turned out trust and usability matter far more than just access. That’s why we doubled down on verification instead of just volume. This is just the first step. We’re starting with the marketplace, but the larger vision is to make data completely accessible and usable for anyone without friction.
